  3. III. Registration:

    A. Time: 07:30-08:30

    B. Procedure:

    1.Verify the identifications and draw lots for the order of presentation and demonstration; the Committee will decide the order for team whom fail to complete this procedure before 08:40.

    2.Update presentation file before 09:00

    3.Collect the documents: Badges, Finals Handbook(one for each team)

  4. IV. Rules of the Finals:

    A. Rules for the Briefing and Work Demonstration

    1.The order of presentation and demonstration is decided by lot-drawing.
    And the result will be announced before 09:00

    2.Team should present at the waiting area 10 minutes before the its turn.

    3.Presentation and demonstration are open to public observation.

    4.Timing starts when the presenter announces the team number and the work title.

    5.Designated Language: Chinese / English

    6.The presentation will conclude with the presenter guiding the judging committee to the demonstration area and begin to demonstrate (The traveling time from presentation area to demonstration area is excluded).

    7.Each team will have 13 minutes (8 minutes for presentation and questioning, 5 minutes for demonstration), the supervising professor can be assistance.

    8.Bell prompt:

    (a)The first time: 4 minutes (ring Once).
    The second time: 7 minutes (ring Once).
    The third time: 8 minutes. (ring Twice)The team should immediately end the presentation and Q&A session.

    (b)The fourth time: 12 minutes (ring Once).
    The third time:13 minutes. (ring Twice) The team should immediately end the demonstrations.

    9.Briefing equipment:

    (a)Laptop*1 (WINDOWS10 ML64, Microsoft Office 2019)

    (b)LED screen (HDMI or VGA input)

    (c)Briefing pen and audio equipment

    (d)If self-prepared hardware is needed, the time of assembling and disassembling are included in the briefing time.

    (※bearing capacity 20kg limited)

    Content is provided by each team following the event rules.
    The layout of the posters is unified by the event organizer

    (d)Display only permits at regulated area.

  5. V. Matters of Attention:

    A. All participants of the contest should wear participation IDs and dress in their school or team uniform.

    B. International teams can participate in the competition via video conferencing.

    C. Please bring student ID for identification.

    D. Please use equipment provided by the organizer carefully. Teams shall be liable for all loss or damage.

    E. Please keep voices down during the competition, any verbal or behavioral Obstruction during the competition is strictly prohibited.

    F. Drinking water is provided. Please prepare your own reusable bottle or cup.

    G. Drink, smoking and chewing gum or betel nuts are prohibited in the venue.

    H. Display board and cabinet will be provided by the organizer in the work display area (only for the purpose of work display).

    I.  Dismantling starts after the ceremony. Display posters should be disposed of by the teams (please return the aluminum pole to the event organizer).

    J.  Other indiscretions if any are entitled to announcements on site.

    K. Please uncap during the competition. Flip flops are not allowed.
